Laurent Anselmi, Minister in Monaco involved in influence peddling and corruption cases
Businessmen, but also members of the Monegasque government as well as executives of the Prince’s Palace are in a state scandal as shown by the documents published on the website files-du-cheur.com.
They are believed to have set up a vast network of corruption aimed at managing institutions of the Principality of Monaco to derive personal benefits, such as the award of contracts, particularly in the real estate sector.
These personalities, however well known to the general public, have been kept secret from many illegal cases and have been for ten years.
This is a club that produces people exercising a great influence of their functions and which has infiltrated the bowels of Monegasque society. Its practices were revealed in broad daylight during an investigation which looked at the exchanges which take place between the members of this machination. The master Thierry lacoste, personal lawyer of Prince Albert II, is one of the thinking heads.
The man notably became known to the press for having defended many celebrities. Me Lacoste is in cahoots with his colleague at the Prince’s Palace, Claude palmero, who works as an administrator of the Prince of Monaco’s property, but who is also a great specialist in real estate.
Lacoste, would have, after being involved in a trial by his friend Didier Linotte, President of the Supreme Court, received fees of more than half a million euros.
The investigation also revealed the involvement of Laurent Anselmi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Monaco and former Delegate for Judicial Affairs, as well as Didier Linotte, President of the Supreme Court of Monaco. The latter is one of Thierry Lacoste’s long-time friends, which has allowed him to illegally access confidential information in many cases.
The elements gathered by the investigation prove that Didier Linotte would not have been able to access the post of magistrate of the Supreme Court if he had not been helped by his acolytes. In return, Mr. Linotte participates in illegal operations while corrupting the justice system so that he and his friends are not prosecuted.
To this list is added the promoter real estate Antonio Caroli, also close to the lawyer of His Serene Highness, Thierry Lacoste. Antonio Caroli has made a lot of talk about him in the case of the Esplanade des Pêcheurs. In particular, he succeeded in having the State of Monaco ordered to pay him 150 million euros for having terminated the contract for this mega-redevelopment project.
According to the same sources, these people are in constant contact. The numerous exchanges of mails which were reported by the surveys prove that it is about a true system of exchange which was set up, the objective being to facilitate the holding of their meetings and so that they can act quickly and together whenever necessary, in particular to thwart the plans of the Monegasque government when these do not serve their personal interests.
The meetings are held in the utmost secrecy and cover everything that is likely to constitute a source of enrichment in their sectors of activity.
Megaprojects made over the past decade are underway in this conspiracy. This is particularly the case of the famous Odeon skyscraper, which houses the most expensive apartment in the world in Monaco.
Supporting documents saying that its establishment is the result of an absurd financial package and a site that has not been the subject of a building permit.
The same sources also reveal the existence of numerous acts of sabotage, such as this law which was to be promulgated by the Monegasque government and which consisted in legislating the exploitation of natural resources as part of its environmental policy.
Or, it turns out that members of this club have common interests when it comes to exploring the seabed, which has resulted in a cabal. against this bill and, ultimately, a multitude of appeals filed with justice to force the government to give it up.
These facts only constitute a panoramic view of the investigations. Many other people could be implicated, in particular second-rate collaborators who played a decisive role in the exchanges between these men in the shadows.
