Giroud propels Milan to the throne!
AC Milan thanks Olivier Giroud. This Tuesday evening, in the opening match of the 10th day of Serie A against Torino, the Lombard club was able to maintain its dynamic of success at the national level with a sixth consecutive victory thanks to a goal from the French striker ( 14th). Established at the forefront of the attack by Stefano Pioli, the 35-year-old striker displayed a cold realism in front of the opposing goal in order to propel the ball deflected from the head by Krunic into the back of the net following a corner from Tonali. Milan will not be brilliant this Tuesday on a collective level, ceding possession to his opponent in the first act (53% for Torino), and failing to create opportunities.

Pressure on Naples, ovation for Giroud
Recovered from the coronavirus, Theo Hernandez came into play in the resumption in place of Pierre Kalulu but the recent winner of the League of Nations had an evening without too much lightning, like his team who seemed to hard on the physical level with the sequence of matches of the Champions League and Serie A. Unable to take cover, Milan experienced two big cold sweats following the opportunities of Andrea Belotti (53rd) and Sanabria (76th) ) but the poor address of the first and the stoppage of Tatarusanu on the shot of the second have finally to avoid the worst for an AC Milan too little rhythm. What does it matter if the performance was not first class; pending the opposition between Napoli and Bologna on Thursday (8:45 p.m.), the Lombard club won their fifth game in a row at San Siro and rose to the top of Serie A with 3 points more than the team by Luciano Spalletti. Olivier Giroud was given a standing ovation when he left in the 87th minute to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
