The project, presented by the local police command of the Municipality of Santa Margherita Ligure, concerning the awareness-raising process to be carried out in the area regarding the contrast of drug dealing and related control activities was approved. The approval, by the Ministry of the Interior, of a loan of 32,826 euros per year until 2023.

The approved project, which was illustrated by the Commander of the Local Police of Santa Margherita Ligure, Luigi Penna, on the occasion of a special meeting held a few days ago in the Prefecture in Genoa, specifically includes a series of initiatives such as the recruitment , for a fixed term for the summer period, of two Local Police officers, in addition to extraordinary work by the Local Police staff; raising awareness among school students about the danger of drug use; the purchase of a tool for ascertaining driving in the following state following the use of drugs and a detector for carrying out rapid drug tests.
