Avignon. Ceccano Library reopens after being infested with bedbugs

The library must have closed its doors to the public on September 1st. Indeed, Bedbugs had been discovered on the premises of the Avignon establishment (Vaucluse).
Before reopening it, the City wanted to be 100% safe that the bedbugs had completely disappeared.
No more traces of bed punishments
After a first diagnosis in early September, two heat treatments of more than 3,000 documents and contaminated spaces and a second diagnosis, carried out with the dog Pitch of the company EcoFlair, Wednesday, October 6, he no longer felt any small animal in the collections or on the furniture, reports the Dauphiné released.
Two weeks were needed by librarians to replace the furniture, shelves and documents cleaned. They will follow again the pleasure of welcoming readers, starting this Tuesday.
