From the interventions of the speakers and of the people in the room during the meeting on the future of San Marino Paralympic Sport, we seem to be able to positively detect in the first place, the unanimous desire to succeed together this unhappy situation, the son of a dark Paralympic era, glacial in the interpersonal relationships and relationships between the competent bodies and bankruptcy in terms of the activities carried out and the results. We regret not having been able to calmly deal with some representative of the San Marino Paralympic Committee (CPS) who evidently declined our invitation to dialogue to understand and eventually overcome the existing problems, preferring to continue to escape and go into hiding. How long this situation of growing loneliness and hiding will last is not known, but its fate will not be very different from that of the pile of snow on the side of the forest in the shade as soon as it confronts the sun. In spite of everything, however, our appeal to confrontation remains open and the invitation always valid. Returning to last night’s debate, several proposals have been put forward that hopefully will be implemented and concretized in the shortest possible time: a refinement and integration of the legislative discipline that regulates Sport has been announced where it is considered lacking, Projects have been listed that will involve and will involve San Marino athletes with disabilities in competitive sports, other initiatives have been proposed, some of which will be given public account and already in the conditions of level weeks. Furthermore, several reflections have been carried out with respect to the will of will to arrive in parallel to the above, a democratic path of participation pursuant to the current Statute of the CPS if it were not that, this document, seems to have mysteriously disappeared also from the website where from the published epoch origins. Ultimately, despite the defection of the PSC, we consider this first meeting open to all in a positive way. We therefore deem it right to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who participated: from the Secretary of State for Sport Teodoro Lonfernini, to the representatives of the Executive Committee of the CONS, of the San Marino sports federations, in particular the San Marino Special Sports Federation, volunteers and friends of our Association, I understood that unable to be present, they followed the debate on digital listening platforms. We already communicate an upcoming meeting in the name of collaboration, with guest Melissa Milani, President of the Paralympic Committee of the Emilia Romagna Region.
