The Locombia Festival returns to Toulouse to celebrate its 5th anniversary from November 2 to 6!

The most important Festival in France turned only around Colombia and projects linking France and Colombia, now head of the national network for the dissemination of current Colombian music, the Locombia Festival returns to Toulouse to celebrate its 5th anniversary from November 2 to 6, 2021 in various places in the city.

As always, a great part will be given to mediations with young audiences, adolescents and children (with the Boumbia on November 6), but also to film production, in partnership with the Panorama of Colombian cinema in Paris and the Cinélatino Festival in Toulouse. among others. The film Herencias, produced and directed by the Locombia association and selected for the last Cinélatino Festival, will be mentioned at the Le Cratère cinema. A large interactive exhibition on Contemporary Music in Colombia, the Musicolombia exhibition created by the Musicophages, has just been updated by the Locombia Festival and is the common thread of the Festival à la Brique Rouge d’Empalot.

Two major musical evenings will close the Festival. On Friday November 5 at the Salle Nougaro, the Festival will open for once to the neighbors of Venezuela with the haunting music of Parranda la Cruz who had the honors of France Musique for a live this year.

On Saturday, November 6, after two years of waiting, it’s time for the legendary Frente Cumbiero, well known to FIP listeners with their many collaborations (Quantic, Ondatropica, Mad Profesor, Minyo Crusaders) but also astronaut Thomas Pesquet in person who chose them for his playlist in space! They will close their European tour in Toulouse during Noche Loca # 5! A tour of only 7 dates, including 3 only in France! An evening rich in events which will give pride of place to local productions, with the Catalans of Combo Pacheco and the Toulouse-based DJ No breakfast to open the evening. The Colombian collective from Toulouse SOS Colombia / Poetic Action is also offering an artistic performance that echoes the difficult situation that has affected Colombia in recent months.
