Krakow: “Loneliness at the end” conference. How to help the weakest in a pandemic?
The celebration of the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is an opportunity to meet people to help and relieve suffering for patients at the end of their lives. At the seat of the Jagiellonian University: the 6th edition of the scientific conference Palliative and hospice care – medicine, humanism, volunteering takes place. This year, under the slogan “Loneliness Ends – Delays, Improve During A Pandemic”. As emphasized by prof. Barbara Bętkowska-Korpała – one of the speakers at the conference: “Important number of effects on psychological effects, failures after the acute Covid-19 syndrome and sensitization to the necessity of a holistic everyday procedure”.
