For preventive reasons, the main railway corridor in Pardubice will probably be partially closed until 16:00 on Monday. Passage is possible only on a few tracks at a speed of about 10 kilometers. There are also problems in Prague. She derailed the set in Pilsen in the morning, the damage goes to millions of crowns.
During the concreting of the bridge near Hungary in the Pardubice region, part of the structure sank on Monday. Due to this, the Directorate of Roads and Motorways (ŘSD) turned to the Railway Administration. “We asked the Railway Administration for a temporary interruption of operation on the railway corridor in the Pardubice Region near the village of Uhersko, “said Jan Rýdl, spokesman for ŘSD.
Rýdl then stated that after an expert survey of the building, operation from 13:00 is possible on two more distant tracks at speeds of about 10 kilometers per hour. “Four tracks within the relative reach of the construction are still in the stopped mode for safety reasons,” Rýdl added for TN.cz. According to him, this is a preventive measure. The construction concerns the bridge where the future D35 motorway and the railway corridor intersect.
“Due to the fact that they run on one track, the trains will be delayed. The trains that ran there at the time of the emergency could be delayed by tens of minutes, for some trains it is two up to three hours, “said Czech Railways (ČD) spokeswoman Vanda Rajnochová.
The railways introduced a shuttle bus service between Zámrsk and Moravany stations. However, it does not follow the departure of regular passenger trains.
