Aimé Jacquet gave the high start of the Pink October march
The Rotary Club Annecy Rive Gauche organized this Sunday, October 24, at the beach of Albigny in Annecy-le-Vieux, a great friendly and sporting walk.
The starting signal was given by Aimé Jacquet who accompanied the participants. The former coach of the French football team, the 1998 world champion, still loves performance.
More than a hundred marchers took off with the leaders of Rotary Annecy Rive Gauche. The proposed loop, 6 km long, from Albigny to the Marquisats, was intended to provide a better understanding of the health actions of the Pink October campaign and to collect donations to help Rotary partner associations in the fight against cancer of the breast: Women’s committee for breast cancer screening in Haute-Savoie and the “sport and health” section of the Sévrier rowing club.
Rotary needs everyone’s involvement, especially in these difficult times when associations are struggling to raise funds. This pink morning was launched for the organizers in their actions.
