The municipalities of Vele, Sluhy, Mratn, Brzdim and Polerady and Kostelec did not agree with the introduction of trolleybuses from Prague to Kostelec nad Labem. According to them, the death is meaningless, for example, a trolley is led to them.

Trolleybuses fall into cities, not into fields and villages. Let us refuse to allow the Central Bohemian Region to crush the whole village with trolleys and columns, and they are opposed to a petition supported by 749 people, which was now acknowledged by the python representative.

Representatives of the governors argued that the so-called partial trolleybuses have their own batteries and trolleys would be only in some secs. Boreck recalled that the region had been preparing the project since 2019. According to him, it made sense, but the municipality was not convinced. We agreed that it was not worth pushing force through the resistance of the community, Boreck added.

The building of line 377 is thus stopped. In the case of line 375 from the cracks of Harfa to Brands nad Labem, according to the council condition, it is different, so the municipalities on the route support the project.

In the discussion on trolleybus transport to Kostelec, the councilor pointed out two volumes of the EU’s vision regarding emission-free transport. He noted that electric buses, vodka buses or trolleybuses can be handled. According to him, trolleybuses for the given locality also emerged from the study, which the region had prepared by the BUT Faculty of Transport, as the most reasonable one.

Trolleybuses are to run from Prague to the Stedoes region around 2025. The region would like to finance the construction with 70 and 85 percent of the subsidies.
