The police arrested the man on October 22nd at his home address in Salzburg. Parts of the perpetrator’s clothing were found during a house search. In the course of the investigation into his stay between the time of the crime and the time of arrest, another residential address in Upper Austria was determined. During a house search there on October 23, the remaining pieces of the perpetrator’s clothing were seized.
According to the police, the accused has not confessed. He was transferred to the Salzburg prison.
