As of Sunday, October 24, 2021, Germany introduces new requirements for the arrival of Bulgaria, after our site is classified as a high-risk region due to COVID-19.
All those entering Germany from Bulgaria will have to fill in the digital pre-registration form and have a confirmation from https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/#/. All entrants to Germany are required to present a COVID certificate – a negative test (PCR test performed no later than 72 hours or a rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours before entry), a vaccination certificate or a disease certificate . The test is not required for children under 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
The certificate must be uploaded at https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de. Travelers should use the individual link they received in the digital pre-registration confirmation (PDF document).
The following are recognized as COVID certificates: vaccination certificate – full vaccination as of the last dose for the past 14 days; certificate of illness – positive PCR test for COVID-19, performed at least 28 days and maximum 6 months before entering Germany; negative test – PCR, LAMP, TMA are recognized and the sample must be taken no more than 72 hours before entering Germany. An antigen test, not older than 24 hours, may be presented for stays in the high-risk region. Antibody tests are not recognized.
Detailed information on the types of recognized tests can be found at the following link: https://www.rki.de/DE/Content/InfAZ/N/Neuartiges_Coronavirus/Tests.html
All citizens who have not been vaccinated or cannot prove that they have had a coronavirus infection in the last 6 months are subject to a mandatory 10-day home quarantine. It may be terminated after a negative PCR test at the earliest 5 days after entry into Germany. The result should be maintained for 10 days after the test.
Children under the age of 12 are placed on the mandatory five-day home quarantine, which is automatically removed on the 5th day of the first in Germany. It should be borne in mind that it is possible to distinguish provinces in different federal states.
