The number of refugees is increasing. 100 new neighborhood spaces will be created in Salzburg. Low daily rates are an obstacle for operators.
The family of four from Iraq has been living in the asylum area of the Red Cross in the river farm in the Salzburg Alpine Road for two years. Up to 240 people can be accommodated in the six wooden houses. The district is always well used, says the responsible division manager of the Red Cross, Martin Huber.
