Schoolchildren transform the Salzburg parish meadow into a paradise for insects
A long-cherished wish has come true in the parish in Morzg. Together with nuns and a gardener, a whole school class tackled the task.
Exhausted but satisfied, the pupils from the Montessori upper secondary school of the Diakonieverein in Grödig look at their work. For two days, under the expert guidance of master gardener Franz Hönegger, they raked, dug, dragged, shoveled and sown stones in order to breathe life into the 200 square meter lawn in the parish garden in the Salzburg district of Morzg.
