Through Quentin Marais
One week after his demonstration against Auxerre at the Stadium (6-0), Toulouse FC got the point of the draw on the lawn of Paris FC (2-2), Saturday 23 October 2021. The Violets were late two but at halftime.
Two goals behind at the break
If the first half hour was rather mastered by Toulouse, Paris FC opened the brand, thanks to an unstoppable cross shot from Guilavogui, in the 35th minute (1-0).
As half-time approached, a very contentious penalty was awarded to the Parisians, after a hand from Desler. Caddy took Dupé on the wrong foot to double the bet (2-0).
Minutes earlier, Van Den Boomen had had the equalizer ball, but he was trapped by a huge false rebound at the penalty point: his recovery flew into the Parisian sky.
The TFC is coming back strong
The leader of Ligue 2 took seven minutes in the second half to start his comeback. On a corner, Diakité saw his recovery at close range being rejected by Demarconnay, but the ball had completely crossed the line.

Van Den Boomen on free kick (78th) and Ratao in the 20 meters (83rd) failed to equalize, which Rhys Healey managed to do, with a splendid sequence in the area. His left strike left no chance at the last Parisian rampart (2-2, 85th). The score will not move any more.

The first place threatened
This draw of the TFC offers the possibility to his runner-up, Sochaux, to steal the first place of the rank. With 28 units on the clock, Philippe Montanier’s men are under the threat of their first pursuer, who has 26 before receiving Quevilly-Rouen.
Note that the Violets were supported by a nice contingent of supporters: they were 450 to have made the trip to Charléty stadium.
