Experts have not recorded an increase in prices for travel in Russia after the announcement of non-working days – Economy and business
MOSCOW, October 23. / TASS /. The cost of air tickets to domestic destinations has not changed after the announcement of non-working days in the country from October 30 to November 7, Elena Shelekhova, head of the press service of the OneTwoTrip travel planning service, told TASS.
According to bookings from the beginning of the week (from 18 to 21 October) for the period from 30 October to 7 November, the average cost of an air ticket in the country was 4.4 thousand rubles one way per person. last week (priced Oct 11-14), she said.
The press services of Anex Tour and TUI Russia told TASS. According to the latter, the absence of fluctuations in prices for this relationship is due to their early establishment. At the same time, tariffs for November holidays were about 15-20% higher than for regular weekends. At the same time, the press service of Tutu.ru, citing data from its analytical center, reported that the average check for a flight within Russia increased by 8.6% after the announcement of non-working days from October 30 to November 7. In particular, the average check for a flight to St. Petersburg during this period increased by 29%, to Simferopol – by 26%, to Yekaterinburg – by 21%.
Anex Tour and TUI Russia and cancellations of vouchers by country were not recorded due to new restrictions in the regions. During this period, tourists, as a rule, book short sightseeing tours and plan a trip to places of rest, explained in Anex Tour. Similar data was announced on Tutu.ru and OneTwoTrip. This could be a ban on movement between regions, Shelekhova suggested. Tutu.ru also noted that the number of ticket refunds is insignificant and not massive. On the contrary, the demand for flights within Russia from October 29 to November 7 increased by 1.5 times among service customers after the announcement of the introduction of non-working days.
According to TUI Russia, most Russians intend to go to Sochi, St. Petersburg, Kazan, the Moscow region and Kaliningrad for the November holidays. OneTwoTrip customers plan to relax in Moscow (28.4%), St. Petersburg (8.2%), Sochi (7.4%), Krasnodar (4.6%) and Makhachkala (4%).
