The distribution of new cases of coronavirus in Greece

  • The news laboratory confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours is 3,199 , of which 7 were identified following checks at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 714,283 (daily change + 0.4%), of which 50.8% men.
  • Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 149 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 3,248 are related to already known case.
  • The youth deaths patients with COVID-19 are 43, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 15,598 deaths have been recorded. 95.3% had underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and older.
  • The number of patients treated intubated is 353 (61.5% men). Their median age is 66 years. 81.6% have underlying meaning and / or age 70 years and over.
  • Among patients treated intubated, 310 (87.82%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 43 (12.18%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,282 patients have left the ICU. The number of new Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals in the country is 239 (daily change -4.4%).
  • THE average seven-day import condition is 217 patients. The median age of cases is 39 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
