Canceled in 2020 due to the health context, the 40e editing of the New wine and flea market festival will be held throughout the weekend, from this saturday 23 to Sunday 24 October 2021, in the heart of the Chartrons a Bordeaux (Gironde), in the Notre-Dame Street. A relaxation for the organizing association, but also for the many professionals traditionally present, antique dealers of second-hand dealers, through the small atypical shops, the catering trades, and of course, the new wine producers, to be enjoyed here with oysters or hot chestnuts in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Celebrate new wine, but not only.
A true autumnal institution organized by theAssociation of Antiquarians and Second-hand dealers of Chatrons, this meeting is an opportunity to promote the new wine, also called “bourru”, an ephemeral drink from the first harvests, renowned for its sparkling color and its tangy taste.
This year, however, the celebration takes on an almost symbolic dimension. On the event poster, the message is clear: “Real life at last! “. Of course, masks are still in order, but the relaxation of sanitary restrictions and the pleasure of being in a festive and epicurean atmosphere, especially after the cancellation of the 2020 edition, promise to be welcomed for two days with the same enthusiasm as the bottles of bourrus.
From antique dealers to atypical shops
Renowned for its history and its many antique shops, as well as its creative and atypical boutiques, rue Notre-Dame will host 26 stands spread over more than 850m² for two days dedicated to furniture and exceptional objects from collections, but also ready-to-wear , decoration (rugs, lights, jewelry, etc.) and all the ingredients that make up the traditional charm of a flea market.
Depending on their stroll, bargain hunters, locals or tourists, can also feast on hot oysters and chestnuts, (re) discover the many shops and restaurants that dot the street, and even indulge in a few steps of dancing in the city. invitation of the musicians present to punctuate the weekend with street concerts. The promise of a good vintage, combining pleasure for the eyes and the taste buds, with the flavors of reunion and hedonistic celebration.

Sunday: blessing of new wine at 11 a.m. / Free organ concert at Saint-Louis church at 4 p.m.
