Warsaw Falenice Pine will be recognized as a natural monument
The famous “Falenice pine” in Wawer may soon become a natural monument, co-authored by the City of Warsaw Warsaw and Warsaw. The General Director for Environmental Protection has repealed the previous decision refusing to grant such status to a tree, informed the capital city hall.
Characteristically, the pine tree bent over Patriotów Street in Wawer is one of the symbols of the district. The contract, which was introduced to Otwock, but managed to defend itself over the roadway, to repair the earlier protection against the construction, the officials of the Environmental Protection Bureau began their operation by establishing a state monument.
In April this year, he was registered with the Regional Director for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) to draft resolutions of the City Council on this matter. However, RDOŚ refused to agree on which the mayor of Warsaw complained. “Yesterday, the General Director of Environmental Protection completely repealed the previous decision of the RDEP and the attempt to obtain the status of a nature monument” – the magistrate said on Friday.
“Our two excellent years have finally paid off! The largest tree has been handed over. Note, especially now, for two days, it is a day of nature” – quoted in a communication with Justyna Glusman, director of Green and Green Development.
Soon, the City Council will have a project in the eyes of nature.
The famous pine is about 50 years old, 7.5 meters high and 212 meters high. The tree welcomes people entering the capital from the south-east.
