Verona, at Palazzo Maffei a new work by Chiara Dynys
Open to the public from 24 October on the occasion of “Nuove Visioni”
Milan, 22 Oct (askanews) – At Palazzo Maffei, in its eclectic path between masterpieces and curiosities that span more than five centuries, we enter a new site specific work by the Lombard artist Chiara Dynys who created “Over Nature, 2021” for the house museum . The work is added to the refined collection that spans more than five centuries, collected with Luigi Carlon’s kaleidoscopic passion for collecting, which boasts thematic nuclei of ancient art in which the dialogue with modernity and the charm of a private home breaks.
Dynys’ work, able to poetically dialogue with the eighteenth-century interiors of one of the most spectacular noble palaces in Verona, will be open to the public from 24 October 2021 on the occasion of “Nuove Visioni”, the inauguration of the new exhibition wing on the second floor of the Building. It will therefore be part of the extraordinary art collection in the heart of Verona.
With particular materials, new and ancient at the same time, Dynys transmits in this work his poetic vision of nature that goes beyond the conventional aspect to embody a sublime version, less codified, less chained by history and time.
Mantuan, but Milanese by adoption, Dynys has repeatedly presented committed works to the public, including on war, Syria, refugees, conflicts and coexistence. Jobs that often become a declaration of love for the affected countries. In many of them the artist has lived and worked, knowing their moments of crisis. But his message is always aimed at an underlying positivity and a lightness even in experiencing the strongest passions.
