Treasure hunt, concerts, unusual visit… What to do in Toulouse this weekend?

The sun is far from being shy in this month of October. If it is cloudy for the moment in Toulouse, the sky will quickly come true on Saturday, this weekend of October 23 and 24, 2021. Among other things, they will have the opportunity to participate in a treasure hunt at the EDF Bazacle Space, enjoy a musical weekend at the Halle de la Machine or dive into the heart of Toulouse during a guided tour.

Conduct the investigation at Espace EDF Bazacle

It’s already a bit of Halloween at theEDF Bazacle space. From tomorrow until November 7, several activities are offered within the place on the occasion of the All Saints holidays. With the treasure hunt “An almost perfect crime”, young and old will be able to slip into the skin of a detective. Their mission is to resolve an unsolved case since 1875. Accessible from 10 years old, this activity is free.

During the two-week holiday, the Espace EDF Bazacle also broadcasts a selection of animated films dedicated to children on the theme of water and electricity continuously in its projection room. The sessions are free.

A wind of madness at the Halle de la Machine

In addition to the trips to the Minotaur, the Machine Hall has planned a special program for the holidays. It is “the Grande Impro” within the cultural place. On this occasion, a team of builders, dancers, actors, directors, clowns and musicians will unveil to the public how “The Dance Machine”, “The Apple Crunch Machine by Catherine Deneuve” or “The Rice Machine “were built, how they are handled and who were created.

These Saturdays and Sundays, a musical weekend is also organized. The 50 musicians of the Léguevin harmony orchestra have written new arrangements for the show “Le Gardien du Temple”. The musical interludes and concerts will be given from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The health pass is compulsory.

Dive into the heart of medieval Toulouse

Are you saving him? Toulouse is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. Saturday, a guided tour of Paysdoc.com agency will you dear. Heading to the Middle Ages at the Couvent des Jacobins

At Convent of the Jacobins, you will be able to extend your trip to the Middle Ages. Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m., the place organizes an animation around the medieval book. Children from eight years old and their parents will be able to discover its entire manufacturing process.

Parchment, calames, quill pens and illuminations… The copyists’ tools will hold no secrets for you. The 45-minute entertainment is included in the entrance ticket to the Couvent des Jacobins. Please note, the gauge is limited to 18 people. You must reserve your place in advance. The health pass is requested at the entrance to the cloister.

Copernicus in the spotlight at the Cité de l’Espace

The event is unique. The City of Space organize a weekend around Copernicus, the world’s largest Earth Observation program. Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors will be able to enjoy many activities. On the program: meetings with the “Cafés Copernicus”, a round table and a conference, exhibitions but also a film festival.

3D asteroid hunters, Planet Power & Hurricane 3D will be projected. Several sessions are scheduled per day. Admission is free for the films, the “Cafés Copernicus”, the round table and the exhibitions.. You have to pay to access the rest of the visit to the Cité de l’Espace. The health pass is required for over 12s.
