Robbery at a jewelry store in Athens: 22-year-old and 20-year-old arrested
Arrested, in the area of Patissia and Acharnes, A 22-year-old Greek and a 20-year-old native, accused of robbery and violation of weapons legislation. In addition, the 22-year-old is accused of violating the Law on Addictive Substances.
After a thorough investigation, the two were identified as perpetrators of a robbery committed at noon on 22-6-2021 in a jewelry store in Athens. It was also identified as their accomplice in the robbery 35-year-old native.
Particularly, the 22-year-old and the 20-year-old, having their facial features covered with masks, they entered the jewelry store, pretending to be customers, The 22-year-old took a pistol from the 20-year-old’s bag and threatened the owner with it, while at the same time he violently pushed her away.
Subsequently, removed from the showcases and from safe of the jewelry store and escaped.
From the searches in their homes were found and confiscated:
clothing used during the robbery,
-81- airgun cartridges,
iron fist,
small amount of hemp
-2- pepper spray,
multitude of mobile phone machines and
the amount of -1,450- euros
The 22-year-old has been arrested in the past for a number of crimes and the 35-year-old for armed robbery.
The arrested were taken to the Athens Public Prosecutor.
