Belarus will again miss the Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Turin, Italy in 2022. The countries were not included in the list of participants, which on Thursday, October 21, was published by the organizers of the competition.
In total, representatives of 41 countries, including Russia, will take part in Eurovision. In addition, Armenia and Montenegro will be represented in the competition, which differed in the number of participants in 2019.
The membership of Belteleradiocompany (BTRK) in the European Broadcasting Union, which is the organizer of Eurovision, was suspended in May. This was caused by the conflict over the song of the group “Galasy ZMesta” from Belarus. The song made fun of the protesters in the country against Alexander Lukashenko. In this regard, Belarus was barred from participating in the Eurovision Song Contest. The European Broadcasting Union explained its decision by the fact that the application submitted by the country casts doubt on the non-political nature of the competition and could undermine its reputation.

Stephanie, Greece – tenth place
For Stephanie, Eurovision in Rotterdam was a home game. Her parents are Greek, but her family lives in the Netherlands. The number for the song “The Last Dance” was staged by the same Greek team that worked with Sergey Lazarev at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. Stefania, like Sergei, climbs the stairs invisible to the audience. Miracles of technology, fraud.
