Akis Tselentis – What angered him and he exclaimed “here is Greece and not Mohammedan”?
The director of the Geodynamic Institute, Akis Tselentis, appears angry at the disappearance of icons and religious symbols from public places and hospitals.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Mr. Tselentis announced his annoyance at the disappearance of Orthodox religious symbols from public places in Greece.
The reason for his outburst was the phenomenon he observed in the hospital where his mother was treated. In fact, in his message, Mr. Celentis states that he asked why this happened and the answer he received was that there is an order from above so that others are not offended.
“This is Greece and not Mohammedan” he wrote characteristically and underlined that “this so-called culture where the abnormal becomes normal bothers” to conclude the question “should we pray in Mecca as well?”

“Should they give us a rug to pray to Mecca?”
Surprised to find that they have taken the icons out of the treatment rooms. And that did not happen in my mother’s room but in everything. I checked it and they told me “order from above” so as not to offend non-religious people. This is a great disgrace and we must demand that Boun here again be Greece and not Islam. We, the Christian Greek Orthodox, will fight if we have it alone.
Somewhere I am bothered by this so-called culture where the abnormal becomes normal and our religious symbols are abolished.
Some who call us racists may exclude me from facebook again by the well-known NGO cliques. “I have nothing to do with immigrants, I just do not accept the abolition of my religious symbols by the so-called progressives.”
