Piazza Erbe, Piazza dei Signori – ancient Palio of Verona
The streets and squares of the city center are once again hosting the ancient Palio of Verona, which with its over 800 years of history and tradition represents today the oldest organized race in the world. Two days of free events, scheduled for Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October, in which, in addition to the ancient Palio race, different traditional initiatives will be proposed. It is the “Dominica Totius Populi”, a day of celebration during which the city, in the Middle Ages, allowed foreigners to enter for a moment of exchange and sharing.
San Zeno – The Village of Traditions
From Friday 22 October to 7 November San Zeno will host the Village of Traditions. A food and wine village with our traditions to reaffirm that Verona has folkloric traditions and non-profit associations.
Old Market Courtyard – Bleaching Tournament
At the Cortile Mercato Vecchio, after last year’s suspension, all the teams that have collaborated in the past to keep this game alive will compete, facing each other to the sound of s-ciancate in the squares and streets of the city.
The teams from Arbizzano, Caselle di Sommacampagna Castelrotto, Cerro Veronese, Giarina, La Pigna, Libero Vinco, Lugo di Valpantena Parona, Pescantina, San Giovanni Lupatoto San Martino Buon Albergo and Via will compete for the title on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October. Natural History Museum – exhibition “Bolca, new exceptional finds”
The exhibition aims to introduce the general public to the exceptional beauty and particular value of the finds that these deposits preserve, brought to light during the most recent paleontological excavation campaigns, conducted in 2019 and 2020.
The exhibition Bolca, new exceptional finds, can be admired until October 31, 2021, in the atrium of the Veronese Museum. It will symbolically kick off the days of in-depth study on the paleontological heritage of the Val d’Alpone between conservation, enhancement and fruition
Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery – The hand that creates
It can be visited until December 31, 2021, at Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery in Verona, the exhibition “The hand that creates. The public gallery of Ugo Zannoni (1836-1919)”. Sculptor, collector and patron who offers a study dedicated to the artist and the theme of patronage that led to the birth of the civic collections of the Gallery of Modern Art.
The starting point of the project – curator by the director of the Civic Museums Francesca Rossi flanked by a scientific committee composed of Maddalena Basso, Camilla Bertoni, Elena Casotto, Tiziana Franco, Sergio Marinelli, Patrizia Nuzzo and Pietro Trincanato – is the story of one of the greatest sculptors of the nineteenth century in Verona, Ugo Zannoni.
Kromya Art Gallery – “Absolute natural”
After the positive feedback obtained at Miart 2021, the international fair of modern and contemporary art in Milan brings the project to its headquarters in Verona (Oberdan, 11c) “Absolute natural” by the artists Flavio Paolucci and Giovanni Frangi, in dialogue on the symbolic value of natural elements. The exhibition can be visited until November 20, 2021.
Borgo Santa Croce – Associations in celebration
The appointment is for Sunday 24 October, starting at 10 am, at the “Cantori Veronesi” gardens in via Verdi, in front of the church of Borgo Santa Croce. The world of the Veronese association, in particular the one committed to social issues and to help and assistance to fragile individuals, meets the citizens on a festive occasion, to learn about their activities and share a moment of knowledge together.
The event will start at 10 am and will take place throughout the morning. At 11 am there will be the presentation of the participating associations and at 12, thanks to the support offered by the Alpini Group, final risotto for everyone.
Covered market of Campagna Amica
The Covered market of Campagna Amica in Verona in the city center, organizers from the farmers of Coldiretti. From 8 October 2021 it starts Gardaland Magic Halloween: every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month and in the long weekend from 29 October to 1 November 2021 the park will be transformed thanks to the many themed decorations, the shows created and the presence of zombies, witches and vamps ready to surprise visitors in the avenues of the Park between one attraction and another.

Castelnuovo del Garda – Sea Life Gardaland

Bussolengo – Parco Natura Viva
The Parco Natura Viva, modern Zoological Park in Bussolengo, an important protection center for endangered species awaits you on Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 18 in the “Wildlife” section while from 9.30 to 16 in the “Safari” section. To host visitors there it will also be the little Indian royal vulture. Valeggio sul Mincio – Palazzo Guarienti
Contemporary art meets unknown places. Ten years after the first edition, the show “In the Meantime # 2 – Meanwhile “conceived by the artist Lucio Pozzi, edited by Arthur Duff and organized by the municipal administration and the Percorsi cultural association.
The exhibition is deliberately set up in the evocative atmosphere of a wing to be restored of Palazzo Guarienti, the eighteenth-century building in the center of Valeggio, in via Antonio Murari, which also houses the splendid municipal library. It will be open until October 31, 2021.
Valeggio sul Mincio – Sigurtà Garden Park
To the Sigurtà Garden Park it will be possible to discover in complete safety in the 600,000 square meters of the Park the late varieties of tulips, the first peonies and other botanical and naturalistic treasures of the Second Most Beautiful Park in Europe.
