Strong Winds over Warsaw. On Burakowska, a concrete wall fell over a woman. She was slightly injured. The wind blew signs also on Foksal, where the sign turned over to a pedestrian. Firefighters also intervened in the case of trees overturned on cars.
The events at Burakowska took place around 15.40. – Twisted heavy wind knocked over old concrete wall. A woman was hurt politically by a pavement – Monika Naw of the press department of the Stołe Command. As she added, the woman went to the version.
There were also firefighters working on site. – The injured woman got herself out from under the fence. We gave her first aid until the time of Michał’s ambulance – and then from the railway station, Skrzyp from the Warsaw fire brigade. – The wall was about two meters high, 20 wide. Strong winds also showed signs on Foksal Street. – There the roadside turned over on a seventy-year-old woman – said Monika Nawrat. She added that the pedestrian was new.
Around 6.30 pm, we heard from the fire brigade that the gale came about mandatory, the main ones from Mokotów and Śródmieście. The description of them concerns trees. – We also received a task from Jana Kazimierza Street. There, a tree fell over three cars. Nobody was hurt – said Michał Skrzypa.
Moreover, as Artur Węgrzynowicz completed himself, the tree fell on a car in Szpotański Street. Nothing happened to the woman leading it.
In the evening, the fire brigade informed that by 10 p.m. 130 reports of the storm had been received. – Two people must be taken. A woman crushed by a sign and a pedestrian on which the meeting had fallen – reminded Michał Skrzypa.
In turn, the data of the supervisory guard by the Member State shows that on Thursday by 21.00 the guards on the Masovian Voivodeship of the wind intervened in connection with strong winds. The highest number was recorded in Warsaw – 128, as well as in the following poviats: Wołomin – 56, Legionowo – 51 and Warsaw West – 48.
Due to the weather, firefighters also intervened in the poviat of grodzisk – 47 times, Płock – 44, Ostrołęka – 39, Mińsk – 34, Ciechanów – 33. In Ostrołęka, 36 interventions were initiated, in Gostynin – 39, Żuromin – 29, Pruszków – 27, Płock – 26, Piaseczno – 24, Sochaczew – 23, Mławie – 22, Żyrardów – 22, Grójec – 18, Makowie – 16, Przasnysz – 14, Nowe Dwór Mazowiecki – 12, and after 11 interventions in Pułtusk and Węgrów.

IMWM drives strong wind alerts on Thursday morning for fourteen provinces, all except Lublin and Lesser Poland.
In five poviats, which has a second region: in the western part of Lubuskie and Greater Poland, in the voivodeship Zachodniopomorskie and in the north of the province. Pomeranian and voivodeship Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. According to forecasts, the wind forecast will be around 30-50 km / h there, and gusts will reach over 100 km / h.

The RCB sends alerts to the inhabitants of those parts of the country where strong winds are forecast.
