Værnes, SAS | SAS presents new winter program
SAS notices that more people want to go out and fly and therefore opens up for new destinations for the winter.
On Thursday morning, SAS announces that they have completed their winter program for winter 21/22.
The company notes that the demand for travel is increasing and that they are therefore increasing the number of flights and opening up new destinations.
The press release states that SAS will also resume direct flights between Trondheim and Tromsø as well as between Oslo and Manchester.
When it comes to flights abroad, the company is betting on more departures to the UK. These go from Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm to London and Manchester.
Also on flights to Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Helsinki, Munich, Oslo and Paris, the frequency will increase.
The winter program offers ski tourists routes to nine winter destinations – Sälen / Trysil and Östersund in Sweden, Salzburg and Innsbruck in Austria, Milan and Venice in Italy, Munich in Germany, and Geneva and Zurich in Switzerland.
Other companies are also focusing on flights to and from Værnes.
Barely a week ago, it also became clear that the Icelandic airline Play routes from Stavanger and Trondheim to the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. The routes start up in May 2022.
