Toulouse: the “bug” of the results of the State diploma of counselor in family social economy
Several candidates for the State diploma of social and family economy counselor (DECESF) denounce on social networks a “bug” of the Toulouse academy which, at first, published erroneous results.
Admitted, not admitted. It seems that the results of the State Diploma of Counselor in Family Social Economy (DECESF), which were to be published on October 15 on the Toulouse Academy website, suffered a yo-yo effect. Information confirmed by the Toulouse rectorate who piloted the exam for the Toulouse and Bordeaux academies. In total, 103 candidates in Bordeaux and 99 in Toulouse are concerned.
Several contradictory lists were put online at different times, the final final on Monday, October 18, the candidates who expected this list three days earlier. Which completely unsettled a large number of them. Some had the bad surprise to discover in the morning that they were admitted and in the evening, that they were no longer. Through messages on social networks, the “bug” was relayed by many dismayed non-graduates.
“Waiting, anguish, disillusionment, tears …”
The mother of a candidate sent an email to the Toulouse academy to express her anger after the disappearance of her daughter’s admission to the final list: “How are such errors possible? How to give credibility to the published results given the weaknesses identified? Did the entry of results by the administrative service of the rectorate of the Toulouse Academy in particular comply with all the procedures and controls? She asks.
It requests from the rectorate “all the documents relating to the examination of [sa] daughter ”, and wishes“ the organization of an extraordinary session to allow my daughter and all of these students injured in the display of results to benefit from a catch-up test ”.
On Facebook, it is a candidate who accuses the Toulouse academy of “incompetence”. “A first list,” she writes, “is published with a large number of errors: it lacks the names of graduates, of which I was one, and some non-graduates appear on the lists. […] Waiting, anguish, disillusionment, tears were our daily lives today… ”
The academy’s “sincere apologies”
The rector recognizes “the error”. And explains it: “The list of candidates admitted to the 2021 session of the DECESF was published on Monday, October 18 at the end of the morning around 11 a.m. But it contains errors. A corrected list was therefore published at 11:30 am. 26 candidates out of 202 registered thus appeared wrongly on the list of admitted candidates during this half hour “.
And to specify with regard to the candidates: “The Toulouse Academy’s Examinations and Competitions Division has been communicating with the candidates since Monday to explain the situation and sincerely apologize to the candidates and their families for this dysfunction “.
