It was mentioned that illegal “border” posts remain an obstacle to the free movement of citizens, and lately Transnistrian structural representatives have entered the area of responsibility of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces, where they resort to illegal detentions and abductions.
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova, that such actions violate fundamental human rights and destabilize the situation in the Security Zone, and the JCC must intervene to end them.
“The delegations of the Russian Federation and the Transnistrian regions have a different approach to the issues, insinuating that it does not fall within the competence of the Unified Control Commission. Therefore, the formation of the agenda of the ordinary sitting was blocked. In order to examine the organizational issues, an extraordinary meeting was held, being confirmed in the functioning of a new Chief of Staff of the Joint Military Command. ”.
