Soccer – Munich – Coach Köllner has “honed his own game” – Bavaria
Munich (dpa / lby) – The draw series of his TSV 1860 Munich in the 3rd soccer league does not worry coach Michael Köllner. The “Löwen” played 1: 1 six times this season, and they have drawn a total of seven in eleven games so far. “We have to make sure that the team is more likely to score goals,” said Köllner before the game on Saturday (2:00 pm) against the top team 1. FC Saarbrücken.
The coach has therefore changed a few things in training. “We introduced good processes and fine-tuned our own game. We recently had a good completion rate in training,” he explained.
The offensive players Tim Linsbichler and Stefan Lex, who were recently sick, are in favor of the party in question. “We have to see who is in top shape for Saturday,” reported Köllner. During the week there were “several illnesses”. Linsbichler and Lex have meanwhile been able to get back into training. Until the end of October, Köllner has to do without midfielder Richard Neudecker after a corona illness.
After a game-free weekend, as opponents Waldhof Mannheim could not compete due to several corona cases, the Munich coach is looking forward to the challenge in the league. “We’re playing for a team that also has great ambitions,” he said. “This is a team that is extremely ripped off”.
