Contacted by France-Blue, SNCF announces thatno train is running this Thursday morning on all the Normandy lines, due to the passage of storm Aurora last night over Normandy. Tree branches and leaves were found on the railway tracks. Some catenaries were also damaged. The railway company ran reconnaissance trains to assess the extent of the damage.
No train between Paris and Normandy before the afternoon
Traffic remains interrupted, in both directions of traffic, between Paris-Caen-Cherbourg and Paris-Lisieux-Trouville until 5 p.m.. The resumption is scheduled at 2 p.m. for the connections between Paris-Rouen-Le Havre and Paris-Granville.
Some regional lines running again
Since 10 hours, some regional lines running again gradually. This is the case for Caen-Lisieux, Granville-Lison and Lison-Caen. In Seine-Maritime, traffic is restored between Rouen and Dieppe.
