A “Strategic Memorandum of Understanding, which will see the Secretariat of State for Tourism and the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro maximize synergies and collaboration, through the definition of policies and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the ecclesiastical heritage and tourism religious”. Thus opens the Memorandum of Understanding outlined in recent months and today finally signed by the Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati and the Bishop of the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro HE Monsignor. Andrea Turazzi.
This was communicated by the Secretariat of State for Tourism. “A path that was strongly supported by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati within the Congress of State, who with the approval of 3 resolutions – no. 47 of 23 July 2020, no. 33 of July 5 and n. 25 of July 19 2021 – provided the project with a strong acceleration. Of the Patron Saint in the territory of the Republic, and of the Way of St. certification of “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe”.
In particular, the agreement signed this afternoon will also outline the planning and promotion of joint actions of the Coordination Table, established with Congress Resolution no. 3 of 5 July 2021, which will pursue the objectives of:
-definition of the methods most suited to the knowledge, use and enhancement of ecclesiastical assets and the tangible and intangible religious heritage of the territory;
– address the common problems with respect to the ecclesiastical cultural heritage of the territory and facilitate their accessibility for all;
– facilitating the dissemination of information regarding initiatives and tourist interest in the various public and private levels, through any more appropriate means and shared activities, especially social networks (press releases, newsletters, information seminars, hearings, document processing, etc. .);
Full reward was expressed both by the Secretary Federico Pedini Amati and by the Bishop of the Diocese HE Monsignor Andrea Turazzi for a result that both institutions, in collaboration with the Tourist Office of the Republic of San Marino, worked hard during these recent months.
