State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov expressed hope for a friendly football match between the national teams of Russia and Ukraine in the near future. This became known on Thursday, October 21.
“We sincerely wish the Ukrainian guys victory when they meet with Western clubs. Hopefully, we will play a friendly match Russia – Ukraine in the offseason. These foul-smelling ferrets won’t spoil anything for us. It’s bad that they are trying to tie them to politics, ”Milonov told the TV channel REN TV…
Thus, he also commented on the actions of the Ukrainian commentator Sergei Lukyanenko – he wished the Moscow football club (FC) Spartak, which played in the Europa League against FC Leicester, in the Europa League.
According to Milonov, commentators can express their position, but no specialist will stoop to “sincerely wish” defeat.
“Unfortunately, now we have learned that there are shitty commentators in Ukraine, such as this citizen. Probably, he will comment on the third Kharkiv league, ”the parliamentarian said.
On October 20, Spartak lost in the match of the third round of the Europa League group stage in Moscow to Leicester. The English club has a total of four points and is awarded in second place in Group C. Spartak has three points and third place. In the next game, the English club will host Spartak. The match will take place on November 4th.
Spartak head coach Rui Vitoria appreciated his team’s performance. He noted that it was a high-level game against a very strong opponent. He announced that he is satisfied with the result, but there is another difficult match with the Moscow club ahead.
