Death of Camilla, the experts: “It was the adverse effects of vaccination that caused it”
The experts Luca Tajana and Franco Piovella, appointed by the prosecutors Stefano Puppo and Francesca Rombolà, also explain that the young woman did not suffer from previous pathologies and that the hormonal treatments she underwent did not interfere.
Genoa – “The death is reasonably to be referred to the adverse effects of vaccination”. So the medical examiners write in the report on tragedy of Camilla Canepa, the eighteen year old from Sestri Levante died on 10 June after receiving the first dose of AstraZeneca anti-Covid serum.
The experts (the coroner Luca Tajana and the haematologist Franco Piovella), appointed by the prosecutors Stefano Puppo and Francesca Rombolà, they also explain that the young woman did not suffer from previous pathologies and that the hormonal treatments she underwent did not interfere. “Cleared” also the hospital of Lavagna, from where the student had been discharged for the first time: “Even if in the abstract one could understand that one was in the presence of a post-vaccine syndrome – the summary of the 74-page study delivered from medical examiners to the Prosecutor’s Office – there are no criminally relevant elements“borne by the health staff of the institute. On this point, however, the family lawyer, Angelo Paone, takes a critical position and further investigations must be conducted.
An investigation for manslaughter had been opened on the case, still against unknown persons.
The story
The girl was healthy, the experts point out, and the medical history form was filled in correctly as well as the administration of the vaccine. Camilla had been vaccinated on 25 May and felt ill on 3 June: she was taken to the Lavagna hospital where they had found thrombocytopenia and photosensitivity. She was discharged, however, after a non-contrast scan, and returned to the same hospital on the 5th in desperate conditions due to a cavernous sinus thrombosis. She was transferred to the San Martino Polyclinic in Genoa and had an operation on her head, she died on 10 June and the parents, who had always claimed that their daughter had no pathologies and did not take drugs, authorized the removal of the organs.
“At the first hospitalization – the doctors write – the reaction to the vaccine was already underway and could be interpreted as such but in that context and in that historical phase there was still little talk of it and a relationship was not so easy to guess”. “The story deserves a closer look – he underlines the lawyer Angelo Paone who assists the family -. It finally became clear that the girl had no pathologies and was not taking medicines. We reserve any further information with our consultant.
However, we can observe from now on that in reality the problems of contraindications on that age group had already been highlighted in the report number 17 of the scientific technical committee which said that it was not recommended for people under 60 years of age. Also with regard to Lavagna it must be said that Camilla on the 3rd was discharged with the platelets that they continued to descend, perhaps we could act differently“.
In Genoa, Francesca Tuscano, a 32-year-old teacher, died in the spring she too was crushed by a thrombosis. The cases were also dealt with by Eurojust which organized a meeting between the various Italian and European prosecutors who had cases of suspected deaths.
In the next days the Health and Labor pool of the Genoese prosecutor will meet to understand how to continue the investigation and whether, after the first deaths of the spring, informed consent should have been modified for thrombosis risks for women under 60.
