‘2 billion euros in added value’: Microsoft’s appeal to Austria
In order to position itself as the country’s “future initiator”, the company is calling on Austria in a broad campaign with KTHE to take responsibility for future generations.
With the establishment of a new local data center region and a training offensive in the field of digitization, Microsoft wants to set a new milestone. With its cloud platform, the company wants to form the basis for the development of new digital and service-oriented business models. These measures, together with the promotion of sustainability projects and the investment in new green technologies, should bring Austria additional macroeconomic added value of around two billion euros, as stated in the broadcast by the responsible creative agency Kobza and The Hungry Eyes. Together with this, Microsoft “as the country’s future initiator” is implementing an external presence that is supposed to show exactly that.

After a quick two years of economic standstill, it is now important to use the digitization boost from the Corona era. Under the slogan “Make tomorrow possible today”, Microsoft and KTHE use the emotional momentum of the crisis and call on Austrians to make the future come true and to take responsibility for future generations. This core idea is to be conveyed with the subjects on the subject areas of the environment, education, innovation and safety.
