VIDEO. Star of the Rouen Armada, the Brazilian training ship “Cisne Branco” hits a bridge in Ecuador
The Brazilian three-master hit a point on Monday in Ecuador without injuring himself. An extremely rare accident for the one who was one of the stars of the Armada of Rouen in 2019.
The “Cisne Branco”, a majestic Brazilian naval training ship, accidentally struck a bridge Monday, October 18 in the Ecuadorian port of Guayaquil. The Ecuadorian National Navy said Tuesday that the incident had not injured anyone. A video circulating on Twitter shows the sailboat’s three masts dramatically colliding with a swinging pedestrian bridge over the Guayas River, without the tug supposed to assist the ship in its maneuver succeeding in preventing the shock. The accident, which also triggered the sinking of the tug, caused no injuries and an administrative investigation was opened.
