He was able to administer 10,000 doses of the vaccine daily, i.e. 1,000 injections per hour. The total number of estimated doses is estimated at 650,000 since the site was put into service.. Volunteers, volunteers from SAMU 31, SDIS31, health professionals, nurses … Many people have been setting up vaccination lines for seven months. More 1,600 students were also mobilized.
A drop in demand in recent weeks
The closure of the Ramier vaccinodrome is explained by a drop in demand for vaccination. The pace has slowed down in recent weeks, with the center only vaccinating around 500 to 600 people per day. An obvious accusation 82% of the inhabitants of Haute-Garonne are to date vaccinated against Covid-19 According to figures from ARS Occitanie.
The vaccine supply must then adapt, leading to the closure of several vaccination centers in Haute-Garonne. They will not be more than six in november. As the volume of vaccination is much smaller, other organizations will take over to provide the injections. Volunteers can always go to health professionals, in particular via the Doctolib platform.
