Not even two months ago San Marino sewed the fifth championship in its history on the shirts, which already now, with the next playball far away, the company announces its first purchase. The hiring is that of Dudley Leonora (photo), 30 years old in mid-December, one meter and 85 in height, a Dutch ‘utility player’. A native of Sint Marteen, in the Caribbean, Leonora began her career in American Minors (she was part of the Baltimore Orioles organization). But it is in Europe that he finds his true dimension, in the championship of his country. First with Hoofdklasse, then for two seasons (2015 and 2016) with Kinheim, with the batting average ranging from 299 in the first year to 327 in the second. In 2017 he is at the Hoofddorp Pioniers (mb 298), while the following season he wears the Curacao Neptunus jersey (mb 297). Yet another movement, again in Holland, and here he is in Rotterdam, where this year he has created an excellent season (342 batting average with 36 points).
