Civil security exercises in Toulouse and Boussens, Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 7:00 p.m.
The prefect of Haute-Garonne, in conjunction with all the departments concerned, is organizing two exercises intended to test the Particular Intervention Plans (PPI) of ESSO companies located in Toulouse and ANTARGAZ located in Boussens, establishments classified as high threshold SEVESO.
The PPI is established with a view to the protection of populations, property and the environment to deal with the particular risks associated with the existence and operation of industrial sites. The development and implementation of this plan, which is part of the ORSEC system, reporting to the Prefect of the department.
The purpose of these exercises is to test the organization of emergency services, the procedure for triggering the PPI and the setting up of command structures in the event of an industrial accident outside working hours.
The sirens of the ESSO and ANTARGAZ sites must sound around 7:30 p.m. as part of these exercises.
There will be no security and emergency resources deployed on site.

However, the sirens will not sound to signal the end of the exercise.
In a real situation, this siren signals a danger. Safety instructions specific to each site should be applied. As part of the exercise, no action is required from the population.
All arrangements will be made so that the ordinary activities of the rivers are not disturbed by the conduct of these exercises.
