An incinerator is burning in Prague. Firefighters have declared a third degree, people do not ventilate
The smoke can be seen from a great distance and firefighters do not recommend ventilation to people in the area due to combustion products. According to firefighters, it burns 30 to 40 meters and is a technology fire in a building that has five floors.
“We are attacking the indoor buildings and up the ladder, the building is divided into several sections,” said Martin Kafka, a spokesman for the Prague fire brigade, on Twitter at 4 pm.
The mayor of Prague, Zdeněk Hřib, then specified that a rubber seal was burning on the spot. “Fortunately, it’s not a waste,” he added. This was confirmed on Twitter by the Prague services under which the incinerator belongs. The mayor also sets out.
Rescuers also set out. “So far only for preventive reasons,” they said on Twitter.
