As part of the autumn and winter shooting of the Istanti Sonori review, in collaboration with San Bernardo shipyard on the way Pietro Gori a Pisa, Friday 22 October at 21.30, will be presented Walter Forestiere, young drummer and percussionist of Apulian origin of the sign of the twins, initially in the first part of the first set, in a solo to the drum, tape recorder, field recordings, variable sound objects and speaker. Walter Forestiere is an improviser and composer who loves sound in which the moment of listening is a fundamental and poetic element, bearer of even mysterious sound tracks and trajectories, which he likes to define as ’emotional re-percussions in physical and spiritual space’, elements making part of a sound and musical landscape, changeable and iridescent and that transforms and fades from time to time and according to the moment that passes. Although young (Bari 14/6/1990) he already has numerous concerts and participations in important festivals to his credit. in second part always of first set, the percussionist will try his hand at a duo completely new with the young Tuscan musician and also a visual artist, David Lucchesi to the electric guitar, small electronics, objects, sound fierce and run-in, with a strong creative attitude and who plays steadily in the electroacoustic ensemble Vip Cancer, whose group was released on the cd On himself (2019) for the label Lisca Records.
In second set instead, the formations of a duo with Roberto Kabuy Traverso (battery) e Sara Fontana; a trio with Guy–Frank Pellerin (tenor and soprano saxophones), Marco Carvelli on trombone and Eugenio Sanna on amplified guitar, metal strips, balloons, cellophane, vocals; of the duo still, formed by Isolina Ravenda (voice), Dario Arrighi (electronics) andoverall final with all the musicians gathered together: Walter Forestiere, Guy–Frank Pellerin, Eugenio Sanna, Marco Carvelli, David Lucchesi, Isolina Ravenda, Will be Fontana, Dario Arrighi, Roberto Kabuy Traverso.
