Toulouse: good bread in the heart of the Cartoucherie eco-district
The shops are located around the main square in the heart of the Cartoucherie eco-district opposite the halls being restored. A bakery has just opened its doors.
The large square in the Cartoucherie eco-district, opposite the eponymous tram station, between Avenue de Grande-Bretagne and the market halls, is taking shape. The Boulangerie de la Cartoucherie has just opened, Thursday, October 14, at 1, place de la Charter des Libertés Communales (this is the name of the main square at the foot of the market halls being renovated).
A bakery in the heart of the eco-district, ready to supply the inhabitants of the area but also the future stands of the gourmet hall: “We are sized for that”, announces Philippe Laubry, who already runs a bakery, on the other side of the Zénith, Voie du Toec, next to the Funeral Services.
“We offer quality bread and products, and also a commercial activity in the heart of the eco-district”, continues the baker of the Boulangerie de la Cartoucherie who will offer breakfast to the inhabitants on Thursday, October 21 with the slogan: “Are you more of a croissant or a chocolatine?” “.
Already many shops
The bakery, located opposite the entrance to the main hall, the gourmet hall of which should open in spring 2023, thus joins the hairdressing salon open on the same sidewalk. A little longer, on the avenue de Grande-Bretagne, an optical store (Optic 2000) and a pharmacy have also opened their doors (the old little pharmacy of Great Britain crossed the avenue to get comfortable , with more space, modernity and comfort).
On the other side of the main square of the Charter of Communal Liberties, the Arcane café is a pioneer, just at the corner of the Georges Charpak alley, opposite the Cartoucherie tram station. Next to a Japanese restaurant and the “Les Comptoirs de la Bio” boutique.
While waiting for the upcoming opening of a supermarket (medium Carrefour food area) on the square, at the foot of the wooden structure building “Wood Art-La Canopée” which will also accommodate an Eklo hotel with 100 rooms, local shops and public parking in the basement for shops.
