Six young people aged 15 to 17 are heard Tuesday by investigators for violence committed in the summer of 2021 on tourists in Annecy (Haute-Savoie).

Six young people were arrested Tuesday, October 19 in Annecy (Haute-Savoie) as part of an investigation into several cases of violent attacks committed in the summer of 2021 on the promenade du Pâquier, according to information communicated by the public prosecutor to France Bleu Pays de Savoie. They are four girls and two boys, age at the time of the facts from 15 to 17 years old.
Each time, the perpetrators acted as a gang. The victims, tourists, were threatened verbally, some severely beaten before having their purses or mobile phones stolen. In total, the police services recorded about twenty assaults. The investigation and the custody in progress must make it possible to specify the role of each person at the time of the facts.
