SCCI receives delegations from Estonia, Latvia and Sweden
Sharjah 24: Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), praised the importance of holding and organizing business forums between Sharjah and various countries in the world, which will help increase investment volume.
Al Awadi stated that an agreement was signed between SCCI and delegations from Estonia, Latvia and Sweden during the business forum
Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, who spoke exclusively to Sharjah 24, stressed that Sharjah enjoys attractive factors and has today become a major region for industries, as well as free zones.
Al Awadi added that the Business Forum will help strengthen digital cooperation, while Estonia is one of the most developed countries in information technology in Europe, he also referred to the recent agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Latvia on an expanded economic cooperation program such as covers 11 key sectors, including tourism, aviation, trade, investment, innovation and small projects and renewable energy, and emphasizes that these factors provide a strong basis for developing and exploring new channels for future economic cooperation.
Al Awadi indicated that, following the conclusion of the forum, a series of side and bilateral meetings were held between the Heads and Directors of Emirati and European companies, focusing on discussing partnerships, cooperation, mutual coordination and discussing investment opportunities for both sides, in addition to presenting the partnerships offered by various areas that can attract European investors to Sharjah.
