Fuels in Luxembourg: on the rise, the price of unleaded 98 is higher than ever

The increases in fuel prices are also continuing in the Luxembourg.
Wednesday 20 October 2021, it will be the turn of the unleaded 98 to accuse a further increase of 1.6 cents, which will bring its price to 1,565 euros per liter, according to a press release from the Luxembourg government.
Almost all records broken
Unleaded 98 had already reached the most expensive price in its history on October 7, when it reached 1.515 euros per liter. It is still five cents more expensive less than two weeks later.
According to the Luxembourg statistics portal, the unleaded 95 is about to break the record set in September 2012. After a further increase on Tuesday, October 19, its price rose to 1,477 euros per liter and is very close to the record, set at 1.48 euros for nine years.
the diesel, meanwhile, has never been so high. A € 1,395 per liter, it is approaching the symbolic threshold of 1.40 euros, never reached in history.
