– Our story about Norwid breaks with the typical, “occasional, jubilee evening” – says the author of the script, Jan Bończa-Szabłowski, to Rzeczpospolita. – We will not present norwid’s poems “from dot to dot”. In the script of some of his works that begin in fragments, we support them with quotes from the poet’s letters. We juxtapose the poem “Czułość” with a later answer by Ryszard Krynicki. Theoretically, to look deep into the soul, to show the state of the artist, standing and lonely. For every Genius in moments of triumph and doubt, who struggled with misunderstanding and rejection. A visionary who loves Poland and Poles, he did not hesitate to tell often painful truths. He restored the words to their original, forgotten meaning. In the musical arrangement of Jerzy Satanowski, the poems acquire new values, they are suited to the sensitivity of the contemporary viewer and listener.
