Good news for the regulars of the Study and Heritage Library, located in the city center of Toulouse. Closed since Wednesday October 6, 2021, the place will finally reopen to the public on Tuesday October 19.
Elements of the dome are detached
As a reminder, the building had been closed until further notice due to a “technical incident”.

“Parts of the central dome have come loose, endangering the safety of the public and staff. The technical services are at work to secure the spaces ”, then indicated the Toulouse town hall.
Access to the large room prohibited
If the library reopens, the municipality warns that all services will not be accessible.

“Access to the large room remains prohibited, only the side rooms will be accessible. The borrowing and return of documents will again be possible, but the stay on site necessarily limited ”, specifies the town hall of the Pink City.
