For Prague’s public transport, the Dvorecký Bridge is one of the most fundamental buildings. It is to become the nucleus of the so-called southern tram tangent, connecting important tram lines leading from Barrandov and Modřany. By tram, the tram will shorten the journey by up to six kilometers compared to the detour through Palacký. Thanks to the new bridge, it will be possible to cancel part of the bus lines leading across the Barrandov Bridge.
According to the zoning plan from 2014, the Dvorecký bridge will be intended only for public transport, cyclists and pedestrians, if its photographs will also be able to be used by rescue system vehicles.
