Pierre Ménès finds fault with Bosz’s choices and the penalty
Zapping but! Soccer club OL: the most expensive transfers in history
If he was disappointed for a long time with the spectacle at OL – Monaco (2-0) on Saturday night, Pierre Ménès still had a few things to say about the victory of the Lyonnais. On his Pierrot le football site, the consultant was very skeptical about certain choices made by Peter Bosz. “I did not understand the positioning of Cherki, but in any case, the young Lyon hope still seems very light at this level,” he wrote.
Pierre Ménès also returned to the disputed penalty. For him, it is not a scandal either if the referee whistled it: “There are two readings on this penalty because the Monegasque defender plays the ball and we rather have the impression that it is Dubois who shoots him in. But we can also consider that the tackle of the Monegasque defender is a little too enthusiastic ”.
If Axel Disasi did contest the penalty obtained by Lyon, this is not the case with his coach Niko Kovac, who considered the sanction legitimate.
Ménès disappointed with the use of Cherki
Pierre Ménès was disappointed to see Peter Bosz use Rayan Cherki as a center-forward against AS Monaco. For him, the young Lyonnais is too tender for the post. He also returned to the disputed penalty awarded to Lyon.
