New range of Huawei MateView monitors arrives in Portugal – Computers
Designed for professional use, especially for those in telecommuting or education, and with a focus on productivity, Huawei introduced the MateView and MateView GT monitors to the national market. The proposals can also be used for gaming, due to the promise of its fluidity and naturalness of moving images.
The MateView premium line monitor stands out for its ultra-thin bezel, as well as a screen-to-body ratio of 94%, characteristics that led the Chinese manufacturer to win the Red Dot Award in the Design Product 2021 category, including a column and doors of connection to other equipment.
For gaming, one brand recommends the MateView GT, which is Huawei’s first curved screen monitor. In addition to games, its screen takes better advantage of cores in video editing and even offers a SoundBar, which also serves as the base of the monitor.

The monitor has wireless connections, for use with a tablet or smartphone, as well as traditional wired connectivity options such as two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, one HDMI and a Mini DisplayPort. It also has a 3.5 mm jack input for connecting headphones.
The monitor has an adjustable, height-adjustable mount, where the center plate is separate from the panel, allowing you to adjust the height and adjust to the user’s taste. The price of the MateView monitor is 649 euros and until November 7th you will receive free Huawei FreeBuds Studio and a backpack by the brand.
The GT version of the monitor is larger, at 34 inches, with a widescreen 21:9, capable of offering a resolution of 3440×1440. It features a DCI-P3 color gamut, 350 nits illumination, 4000:1 contrast and HDR10 support.
The screen has a refresh rate of 165 Hz, ideal for taking games from the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles to 120 FPS on supported titles. The monitor has a variety of entertainment options and features that you can adjust with its five-year built-in joystick. It also has the usual eye protection certifications.
